They visited Sudan, specifically Khartoum and the surrounding area, from 18 – 25 March 2011, and joined representatives from Darfur, Kassala and the Blue Nile to exchange information and ideas, and to visit various projects in the region.

brilliant!
I was one of the lucky participants on this Active Citizens' exchange to Sudan. This podcast does a brilliant job at capturing the sounds of our trip. May I make a suggestion to any other group about to take part in an exchange? Make sure you have a song to sing! I'm afraid the Belfast team's rendition of Molly Malone was pretty woeful when compared to the wonderful melodies and rythms of our Sudanese counterparts!
